Do I want an iPhone that can't make a call or an iPod that won't fit in my pocket? How about both!

At first glance I was dissapointed by Apple's announcement of the iPab. It looks like an iPhone or iPod touch that devoted a couple months to the gym and endored a couple cycles of steroid treatments. But after watching Apple's 7 minute promo video I must admit I kinda wanted one. Heres a quick list of my likes and dislikes of the iPad

Likes:
- size; looks like a perfect size for comfortably surfing the web on the couch.
- bluetooth; this will allow wireless connetivity for headphones (i think, i hope and a keyboard.
- improved apps: the apps we love on our iPhone and iPod Touch are revamped to utilize the bigger screen.
- price; this is kind of an iffy... while $499 isn't chump change, it is much lower than what I was expecting from an Apple product.

Dislikes:
- size; its smaller than a laptop but bigger than an iPhone, still trying to figure out if this thing is suitable for a mobile lifestyle
- content; we can expect the typical iTunes content we've seen for years with the additon of books to the iTunes library. I'm not much of a reader so that does nothing for me.


I wouldn't buy one, but it would make a great gift... so if anyone would want to donate one please let me know =)
